For this reason, we repeatedly urge customers to order <strong><u>Traffic Load Reports<\/u><\/strong>, to verify before making the purchase, any possible charges that it may have.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nBut in recent months, we&#039;ve been finding that the liens recorded on vehicles are also becoming <strong><u>Seal notes<\/u><\/strong>, which means that, even though the transfers in traffic can be finalized, <strong><u>The DGT (Spanish Directorate General of Traffic) will not issue the vehicle registration documents and we will be driving illegally.<\/u><\/strong>. Furthermore, if for any reason we are stopped to check our documentation, and the officers find that the vehicle has a seal on it, they will immobilize it and leave us without a vehicle and without documentation.<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: justify;\">\nTherefore, and as a fundamental piece of advice when buying a vehicle in Seville (or any other part of the country), <strong><u>We need to make sure what charges the vehicle has and how those charges might affect us as buyers.<\/u><\/strong> It&#039;s important to keep in mind that not all liens are equally restrictive. For example, if a vehicle has outstanding road tax debts, simply withholding payment from the seller and settling those debts with the relevant local council will suffice. In that case, the problem is minimal.
